The 90s Middle Class Biopic offers a close-up view of a normal middle-class family’s way of life, giving viewers an insight into the routine events and significant life turning points. A committed government school teacher, Chandrasekhar (Sivaji) is happy in his peaceful existence with his wife Rani (Vasuki) and their three kids, Aditya (Rohan), Divya (Vasanthika), and Raghu Teja (Mouli).

The movie explores the changes in their way of life and the important discoveries that accentuate their journey as the story progresses. The intricate examination of how their lives develop becomes the main focus, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of the time as well as the pleasures and difficulties particular to middle-class living.

Sivaji was a master at capturing the subtleties of a middle-class mannerism through genuine attitudes and behaviours, all while embodying the role of a college professor with ease. His performance was characterised by sincere feelings and authentic facial expressions. He also carried out language with a natural grace that was appropriate for the role.

Although often powerful, there are times when background music isn’t enough to leave an effect. Through captivating and genuine portrayals, Azeez Mohamad’s cinematography skillfully creates a realistic image of the middle-class lifestyle of the 1990s.
